Earth-Heart Meditation

This meditation is a tiny taster of the practices and meditations woven throughout The Apothecary, where you’re invited to listen deeply and experience the plants through direct relationship.

PREPARE FOR YOUR EARTH-HEART MEDITATION

please read before you start:

Prior to beginning, set aside enough uninterrupted time to drop into this practice, without needing to rush into whatever comes next.

There are a few ways to enter this meditation. You’re welcome to make a cup of tea to meditate with - I suggest heart-centered plants like rose, linden, or hawthorn - or simply use what you have on hand. because all plants speak Heart.

You may also choose to sit with a favorite tree, plant, flower, or in a place in Nature that feels accessible and meaningful to you. Either way, you are invited to commune - through tea or through being with the natural world around you.

If going outside isn’t possible, bring to heart a place, plant, or tree you love. Sit with it. This is less about what you choose, and more about creating space for communion with Nature.

Integration Journaling

Once you’ve completed your practice, I invite you to reflect on what surfaced through journaling.

Some optional prompts:

  • What is present in your heart that’s asking to be heard?

  • What was it like connecting with Nature in this way - what did you become aware of?

  • What did your heart communicate - through sensation, image, word, feeling?

  • What guidance, message, subtle knowing emerged in this space of listening?

  • If you let your heart lead, what feels like the next step calling you forward?

  • How are you called to continue this conversation with your heart and the natural world?
